Red Shift Company, LLC (Red Shift) is a Delaware limited liability company based in Louisville, Colorado formed to create and commercialize a revolutionary new line of voice products built on biomimicry principles that model human hearing and speech in a completely new way. The Red Shift discovery made by John F. Remillard, Chief Scientist of Red Shift, is a significant departure from the technology now being used in the speech recognition industry and enables more accurate voice recognition compared to other commercially available technologies, particularly in noise robust environments. Red Shift has adopted the term Phonito™ Processing to identify and clearly differentiate this discovery and its associated technologies. Consequently, Red Shift believes its products currently under development will be significantly differentiated and superior to traditional commercial products in the Speech recognition (ASR), Hearing Aid and Human -Machine Interface Industries/Markets. Accordingly, Red Shift has applied for a variety of patents and, given the relative unique nature of the invention, anticipates applying for additional patents as it further develops its core technology.
After years of proof of concept testing and demonstrating superior results when compared to other commercially available voice technologies, particularly in noise robust environments, Red Shift has now developed a suite of products addressing the opportunities offered by this technology breakthrough in the voice command management of web-based applications. Red Shift believes there is a significant emerging new market in which users/consumers would rather talk than type when using personal computers and mobile personal devices. This core technology is also being applied in developing complementary products that significantly improve the performance of existing speech recognition engines for potential partners.
